FCHC Holds Environmental Services Celebration
On Friday, Sept. 13, FCHC held a dual celebration for our Environment Services Department. One was for their commitment and dedication they show every day to our patients and facility during National Environmental Services Week (Sept. 8-14th). In addition, FCHC also was very proud to recognize our Environmental Services staff for being designated in 2024 as one of the top 350 hospitals nationwide to earn a 5 star rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) patient survey (HCAHPS)-Hospital database for cleanliness. This 5 star rating is based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients and is sent out nationwide to patients to ask about their experiences during a recent inpatient hospital stay. These surveys were completed between October 2022 and September 2023 and FCHC was awarded this 5 star designation on July 31, 2024.
