All services are available on both an inpatient and outpatient basis, with 24-hour coverage by a radiologist and technologist. All equipment features the latest technology.

Do I need a physician referral/order for imaging exams?
Yes. A valid, signed order from a licensed physician (or authorized healthcare provider) is required before we can provide these tests or services.
Do I need to fast for my imaging exam?
Patient exam preparation is exam specific. To clarify your needs please call 419-330-2651 option 3, we are happy to provide you with your specific exam preparation.
How long does it take to get results?
It typically takes 24-48 hours for results to be reported to your physician. Wait times can fluctuate depending on the workload at any given time.
What hours are the Radiology Department open for walk in xrays (xray exams that do not require an appointment)?
We have staff 24/7. The best time to come is from Monday through Thursday 7am- 7pm and Friday 7am to 5pm. We are happy to accommodate patients afterhours and weekends; we are open but we have limited staff and dependent on Emergency Room patient load you may have a longer wait time.
Do I report directly to radiology for my exam?
No, please stop at Central registration. Once you have completed the consent to treat, the staff will direct you to the appropriate location.
How often should I get a mammogram?
According to the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Society of Breast Imaging, women at average risk should get a mammogram every year beginning at age 40. Screening should continue past age 74, with no upper limit, as long as the patient is in good health. Higher risk patients should discuss their screening schedule with their provider.
How can I get a copy of my images to go to a specialist?
Contact the radiology department at 419-330-2651, option 5. We can provide you a CD/DVD and in many situations we can send images electronically.
Is the Radiation (x-rays) dangerous?
X-rays are safe and low risk, X-rays use a safe and small amount of radiation- not much more than naturally occurring radiation you get in your daily life. The health benefits of an accurate diagnosis far outweigh the risk.
