In December 2020, we opened a new state-of-the-art facility on the FCHC campus — offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy under one roof, with specialized equipment found nowhere else in the region.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a physician referral to start therapy?
At FCHC, yes, a referral from a Physician / Provider is required to begin therapy.
What should I wear or bring to my first appointment?
Loose-fitting, comfortable clothing is recommended for your therapy sessions. Clothing that allows you to move freely and may allow for access to the affected/injured areas of the body is also recommended.
Is aquatic (pool) therapy available without a prescription?
The FCHC Rehab pool is not available for use without a prescription from the Physician / Provider. After the evaluation, your Therapist may discuss this as an option as part of your comprehensive plan of care.
Do you treat children at the rehab center?
Yes! We have therapists on staff that work with all ages including children! We offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies for all ages, depending on their needs.
How long does a typical therapy program last?
Every patient is unique and treated as such. Typically, a patient could expect to be seen for 45-60 minutes per session. Depending on the diagnosis and needs, and average of 10-12 visits are common, but can vary greatly. At frequent intervals, patients are re-assessed for potential further needs versus developing a plan for discharge.
