Our nurses engage with expectant mothers throughout pregnancy to discuss strategies for a healthier pregnancy, childbirth, personal care, and childcare.

Childbirth Education

Classes designed to prepare you and your partner for labor, delivery, and your new arrival, providing peace of mind during this joyous time.

Breastfeeding Classes

Guidance and education on breastfeeding, plus access to a Certified Lactation Consultant by phone or appointment before and after birth.

Yes. Our Family Birthing Center welcomes 2 support people during labor and 1 in the postpartum period. To make their stay as comfortable as possible our rooms include a comfortable sleep sofa, access to hospital dining services, ability to order guest meals for an additional charge, complimentary Wi-fi, and TVs. 
Our Family Birthing Center offers a variety of pain management and comfort options to help support your birth experience and individual preferences. Our nurses are trained to assist with a variety of non-medication comfort techniques including: position changes and movement, walking during labor, birth balls / peanut balls / cub chair, breathing and relaxation techniques, massage and counter pressure, warm showers. Medication options include IV pain medication and epidural anesthesia. Whether you desire an unmedicated birth, plan to receive an epidural, or are unsure of your preferences, our team is committed to supporting your decisions while providing safe compassionate care for mother and baby. 
Preparing for your newborn’s arrival can be both exciting and overwhelming. Our childbirth education classes are designed to help parents feel informed, confident, and prepared to welcome their new bundle of joy. Classes are recommended for first time mothers and their support person as well as families looking for a refresher before welcoming their newborn.
