More than 100 attendees joined Dr. Kirk Davis and Dr. Daniel McKernan to learn about advanced treatment options and take the first step toward relief.
Fulton County Health Center recently hosted its first Free Carpal Tunnel & Trigger Finger Screening Event, bringing together community members interested in learning more about advanced treatment options for common hand and wrist conditions.
The event welcomed more than 100 community members who joined FCHC Orthopedic specialists to learn about ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release and trigger finger release, ask questions, and explore options for addressing symptoms that may be affecting their daily lives.
Dr. Kirk Davis and Dr. Daniel McKernan led the educational presentation, sharing their knowledge and expertise while discussing how these minimally invasive procedures work and who may be a candidate. Both physicians spent time answering questions from attendees and providing valuable insight into treatment options available close to home.
“Events like this provide an opportunity for us to connect with patients, answer their questions, and help them better understand their options for care,” said Dr. Davis. “Our goal is always to help patients find the right treatment approach for their individual needs.”
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to receive a free screening and schedule a follow-up appointment if appropriate. The evening provided patients with valuable information about conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger, which can cause symptoms including numbness, tingling, pain, stiffness, and difficulty with everyday activities.
Due to the success of the first event, FCHC Orthopedics will host another Free Carpal Tunnel & Trigger Finger Screening Event on Tuesday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m.
